Sir,
With reference to your despatch No.92 of the 23rd March, I have the honour to confirm my telegram of the 12th June, which reads as follows:-
"Your despatch of 23rd March No.92 Wireless "Telegraphy. Surveys can be undertaken after selection "of sites by Public Works Department who will co- "operate and render all possible assistence. "Impossible to forward complete particulars enumerated
"in schedules until sites selected. Suggest
"communication with Carpenter, Executive Engineer, "home on leave who can answer any questions. Despatch "followe".

The selection of the actual sites for the
proposed wireless stations being a matter for the experte
who are being sent to this Colony by the General Post Office, it appears that no steps can be taken in the direction of surveying the sites or supplying the full particulars asked
for in the Office of Works' letter of the 3rd March, until
these officers have made their selection.
As stated in my telegram, however, I am
prepared to permit the Public Works Department of this
Colony to undertake the surveys after the sites are selected, and that Department will co-operate with and
